the LACMA

i finally went to the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) for the first time. i don't know how i ever waited so long to go. they have a cool exhibit right now showcasing selected portraits for Vanity Fair for the last 100 years. pretty amazing place.

so as you all know, the new DSLR's on the market will have the ability to shoot HD video and store clips onto the compact flash cards. ::whoopdee frickin doo:: Zacuto, maker of handheld rigs for video cameras, is about to release the same version for the DSLR. this is ridiculous. nowadays where everyone is a "photographer", now every "photographer" is a "cinematographer".
