deep underneath Paris are the bones of roughly 6 million Parisians, a whole city of the dead...and YPM got a first hand look at what the fuss is all about.
but after a narrow endless spiral staircase dropping 65 feet under the city, things get pretty surreal. the whole place is combination of eerie/awesome/spectacular...eersometacular...i've never seen anything like it...the meticulously stacked bone piles stretch out through a labyrinth of tunnels for 300 kilometers (that's 186 miles of tunnel)
it's so quiet you can hear it.
the part that you're able to walk for the tour is about a mile and you're 9 blocks away from the entrance when you exit the "Empire of the Dead"
